Where does the pricing data come from?
▾
BarrelBook aggregates sold listings from GunBroker, auction results, and private sale data.
Every valuation is condition-specific — a "Good" Glock 19 is priced from "Good" comps,
not an average across conditions. Data is updated continuously, not on a quarterly print cycle.
How accurate are the valuations?
▾
For commonly-traded firearms (Glocks, SIGs, Rugers, AR-15 platforms, Remington 870s, etc.),
valuations typically land within 5–12% of actual sold prices. Each valuation shows a
confidence score and a low/mid/high range so you always know how tight the data is.
Blue Book runs 30–50% below actual market — because it was never designed for trade-in pricing.
What firearms are covered?
▾
Currently 110+ models across 38 manufacturers — heavy coverage of the most common
trade-ins: Glock (26 models), SIG Sauer, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, Canik,
Colt, Browning, PSA, CZ, Remington, and AR-15 variants. Coverage expands continuously.
If you're trading guns we don't cover yet, tell us in your demo request — we prioritize
based on dealer demand.
What does it cost?

Pricing is finalized during the early-access period. Early dealers who book demos now
lock in founder pricing — significantly below the public rate when we launch broadly.
